Welcome back to a new semester!

Jan 26th:

To open the class there were some business issues to attend to:

-Welcomed two new students to the room
-Checked the Journal assignment from last Friday (JW #10)
-Briefly talked about the Martin Luther King speech
-Addressed the new syllabus (Mr. Chan's)

As a lead-in to the new book that we will be reading, we started a conversation on CULTURE, listing ideas of what it is...

HOMEWORK:
1. Have the new syllabus signed by parents as well as by students by Wednesday.
2. Show the Video Release form to parents and return by Wednesday.
